I read these five books in the Revenge of Zeeka Series and I was indeed thrilled.

These stories are indeed mind-blowing and I would love to see them as a TV Series.

Set in the year 2036 these science-fiction reads are very unusual, and unlike any zombie stories, I have read.

They are filled with morals and life lessons and are great reading for the young generation of today.

I am a fan of the author and I am proud to have these books, which I bought from her home store in my library.

Brenda tells the story of how Stan manipulated Joanne into helping him become a success in the world of literature, how he fooled and manipulated not just Joanne but all those around him. 

The thriller is centred around the world of Facebook poetry sites, and could have easily been named 'Poetry Wars. 

Who'd thought that the world of poetry could be so exciting!!!!

The book has a dramatic ending and will definitely hold your attention right until the dramatic finish.

For those of us who are not in the banking industry, and for me, especially living in a country where the capital is the financial hub of the country (perhaps the world) you might think a story called My Life As A Banker would be too dry to enjoy.

Author Brenda Mohammed has written quite a few books across different genres. This book is a relatively quick read but readers can be taken along her life's journey as they turn the pages.

I found myself more interested in the 'Life Worth Living' elements of the book. I congratulate her hard work which allowed her to work in the banking industry and get promoted. But I was more interested in the personal side of things, for example how she met her husband (that's an excellent segment of the book) and also attaining her strict father's support for the marriage.

The author's approach to writing this memoir is direct and therefore one imagines this is how she would speak in real life. But the tale is told with such verve and energy, it is an enjoyable book that people will find much to like.

The real-life stories contained within are things we can all relate to. Things such as ending up in a great city like Toronto, but being sick at the time and told 'you shouldn't go out then. 

But this is not the author's approach to life. If you have read her Travel Memoir With Pictures, you will understand what an accomplished traveler this lady is.

There are some surprisingly gory scenes in the book, tempered by some poignant sadness around certain family members, as well as the central theme of how the author made her living in the banking sector.

It's an interesting and very readable memoir from one of the more creative authors out there.

Both Julia and Stephanie have the ideal blend of femininity and strong independence which I love to see in female characters. Stories That Intrigue by Brenda Mohammed is the perfect book for anyone who loves to travel as the cities throughout are described in superb detail. You really get a sense of the culture and atmosphere in each of the places they visit. I also loved the fact that the characters were from different cultures. The author has a wonderful talent for creating characters and dialogue that completely engage the reader. Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories by Brenda Mohammed is aimed at helping the reader trace the line of descendants as far back as to the beginning of mankind, with the story of Adam and Eve. Mohammed, who is a firm believer in the fact that "the Bible is God's biography written by his chosen ones," explains, with the help of quotations from the Bible, how the contents of each of its books relate to the whole.

Mohammed ends Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories with additional material that provides true value for the reader, including the importance of having our names written down in the Book of Life; the text of her favorite two Psalms, 23 and 121 (which is my favorite, too) and a conclusion, confirming her desire (which she has successfully fulfilled) to write a story of God's chosen ones from each book in both the Old and the New Testament.
