BOOK REVIEW

NAME OF BOOK A SPOT IN MY HEART:
LOVING A SPECIAL NEEDS
DOG

AUTHOR KELLY WALLACE ARTIERI
RATING FIVE STARS
GENRE: MEMOIR

CHARACTERS Believable and well- formed
COVER DESIGN: Suitable for Story
PRESENTATION: Professionally Edited
BOOK AVAILABLE: Amazon. Click here

GENERAL REVIEW: A Spot in my Heart is a delightful true story about a hearing-impaired Dalmatian pup and the loving family that adopted him.
It was a learning experience for the family as they dutifully researched the problems and sought expert advice so that they could give the dog all the love and attention he needed.
Vinnie lacked for nothing in that loving environment. In spite of his hearing problem, OCD, and PICA his owners gave him the best in toys, food, shelter, and medical care.

The author’s writing style made the story even more interesting. She related the difficulties with ‘the bad dog’ as she referred to him on occasions, as fun experiences and adventure.
There were a few sad moments too. I enjoyed this book and I am glad that I chose to read it. If you love dogs this Memoir is for you.
I recommend it to all dog lovers.

NAME OF BOOK: A DIFFERENT KIND OF ANGEL

AUTHOR: PAULETTE MAHURIN
RATING: FIVE STARS
GENRE: HISTORICAL FICTION

CHARACTERS: Believable
COVER DESIGN: Fantastic
PRESENTATION: Professionally Edited

GENERAL REVIEW: A Different Kind of Angel is a heart-wrenching story about a young Russian girl who escaped to America for a better life in the late 1800's and the bravery of a young journalist who risked her life to expose the secrets of the asylum.
This was a tale of horrifying events which took place in the land of the brave and free.
It was difficult to read this book without tears in your eyes because it detailed the horrific treatment meted out to Klara and the other women in the asylum.
It was well-written by talented Author Paulette Mathurin.
I recommend this book to lovers of historical fiction.
