MY BIRTHDAY TODAY, ON FIRST DECEMBER
This morning dawns with golden light,
A gift of years, a soul in flight.
The candles glow, the voices sing,
A day of love, new joys to bring.
On my birthday today, I count my many blessings,
I am alive and still around to share my appreciation.
To all the members of this group, I am very grateful,
That you are part of my literary and poetic world.
For my family, loved ones, and friends, I‘m grateful to
God.
Life is beautiful when there is love all around.
So let the music of the heart resound,
In every verse, true joy is found.
