THE GIFT OF LOVE, written by Brenda Mohammed of Trinidad and Tobago, made the Quarterfinals of the Stage 32 + DramaBox Screenwriting Competition!
I am thrilled that my screenplay, THE GIFT OF LOVE, a romance/suspense, made it to the Quarterfinals of the Stage 32 DramaBox Screenwriting Competition, 2026. I now have two screenplays that made the finals. ZEEKA AND THE ZOMBIES, a four-series futuristic sci-fi horror, was a finalist in the 13Horror.com Film& Screenplay Contest in September 2025.
LOGLINE: Love, mystery, and resilience intertwine in The Gift of Love, a captivating tale set against the vibrant backdrop of a Caribbean island, where Crystal Rice is torn between fulfilling her dying father’s wish for her to marry Peter Paton, the son of his wealthy friend, and her undying love for her boyfriend, Barry Holmes.

Brenda has published 68 books and 68 audiobooks spanning various genres, including science fiction, memoir, mystery, romance, self-help, poetry, children’s books, anthologies, magazines, and three screenplays for her sci-fi, horror, and romance novels.
Her horror screenplay for Zeeka and the Zombies was selected as a finalist in the 13Horror-com Film & Screenplay Contest 2025, and her romance screenplay, The Gift of Love, was selected in the Quarterfinals 2026 Stage 32 + DramaBox Screenwriting Competition.
