GOD'S CHOSEN ONES - A MUST-READ BOOK IN CHAOTIC TIMES

REVIEWED BY LOIS HENDERSON FOR READERS’ FAVORITE.
Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories by Brenda Mohammed is aimed at helping the reader trace the line of descendants as far back as to the beginning of mankind, with the story of Adam and Eve.
Mohammed, who is a firm believer in the fact that "the Bible is God's biography written by his chosen ones," explains, with the help of quotations from the Bible, how the contents of each of its books relate to the whole.
Mohammed ends Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories with additional material that provides true value for the reader, including the importance of having our names written down in the Book of Life; the text of her favorite two Psalms, 23 and 121 (which is my favorite, too) and a conclusion, confirming her desire (which she has successfully fulfilled) to write a story of God's chosen ones from each book in both the Old and the New Testament.
I love the way, Brenda Mohammed, in her work Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories, affirms her desire that the stories she retells in accessible and straightforward language will convince the reader of the genuineness and authenticity of their source in divine will.
For any newcomer to the Bible, Mohammed's clear and simple explanation of the primary focus of each book is illuminating.
Her earnest and heartfelt urging that "all God wants from us is obedience" is a resounding call to us to listen to the word of God and to obey. In short, Chosen by the Creator: Bible Stories is a wonderful supplement to the Bible, although, as Mohammed clearly states, it is certainly no replacement for it."

Five-Star Reviews for No 1 Bestseller - Sweet Medley by Author Brenda Mohammed

SWEET MEDLEY: A POETIC JOY, published three days ago on 13th December 2020, topped the charts on Amazon to rank Bestserrler No 1 in Poetry about Love, and Women's Poetry.

The book also received five five-star reviews in three days.

Here is a five-star review from the Editor- Florabelle Lutchman.

"Sweet Medley-A Poetic Joy by Brenda Mohammed, as the name implies, is indeed a wonderful book of delightful poetry that is indeed a poetry reader’s joy.
There is a variety of topics, and each poem tells a story- a very interesting story. Once you start reading you can never put the book down.
The illustrations based on each story poem, add to the general theme of the actual poem. The author has dedicated this book – her thirty-third publication, to all her readers throughout the world.
She has also made mention of a few names in a special poem she compiled and she has included the poems of all those who wrote birthday tributes for her on 1st December 2020. Did you write a tribute? Well, read on to find yours.
In her Introduction, Farhana Sait had this to say, “This book carries an ocean of interesting poems from the author herself, and tributes to the author from worldwide dignitaries on her Birthday on December first. These tributes are treasures of love for Mrs. Brenda Mohammed, the Iron Lady.”
The brilliantly written Foreword by Dr. Vandita Dharni included, “The Book, ‘Sweet Medley: A Poetic Joy’ encapsulates a feeling of warmth, love, and compassion. The poet Brenda Mohammed, has inked her profound musings in this exquisite bouquet of verses. The poems are infused with nostalgia yet there is hope igniting the dark tunnel of life in all its manifestations.”
What wonderful words to describe this Poetry book and so very fitting.
I loved reading the poem entitled, ‘The Wonderful World of tomorrow’ which gives so much hope in its words.
“I look forward to the wonderful world of tomorrow,
One that’s free from disease and sorrow.
When you can move around without fear.”

Then there is the poem on Confidence.
“Confidence is to feel sure of yourself and abilities.
It’s a quiet inner knowledge of your capabilities.”
There are so many interesting and enticing poems that give so much hope to the reader. It is really difficult to itemize as the reader will fall in love with each, as it is easy to relate to the relevant theme of the poems.
I personally loved each one and could not stop reading, as the story told by each poem is so mesmerizing.
Rhyme and Rhythm can be seen all through in each poem and this gives added interest to the reader. The style and skill of the author are brilliant as she composes from multiple complex feelings of joy, love, pain, hurt, hope, and relaxation.
The poems are suitable for all ages, so this book will be a valuable present for both young and old, so get your copy today.

"Reviewed By K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite

Memoirs of Dr. Andrew Moonir Khan: Journey of an Educator is a biographical work by Mrs. Brenda C. Mohammed focusing on the life story of a young teacher during the period of indentureship in the Caribbean. Andrew was the son of indentured immigrants from India, living and working in Trinidad and Tobago, and the tale is compiled both from the original memoirs of Dr. Khan and from recreated prose by his daughter, Brenda. The tale spans Dr. Khan’s very successful career in education, during which he was afforded international opportunities for success, and explains how he took the great life lessons which he learned from his working life out into the Presbyterian church as an Elder.

Mrs. Brenda C. Mohammed has done a wonderful job in bringing the life, philosophy, and personality of Dr. Andrew Khan to life in this compilation of teachings. As an educator myself, I was particularly interested in Dr. Khan’s individualistic approach to students and the humanitarian way in which he achieved success. Memoirs of Dr. Andrew Moonir Khan presents the life of an inspiring man who struggled through underprivileged circumstances to rise to the top of his field, all without losing his generosity of spirit or his creativity. For educators, the book demonstrates how passion and planning can lead to a great many good things in the future, but for a wider audience, the book holds value as an inspiring story of faith and commitment to one’s true path. I would recommend this book for biography fans seeking a deep but feel good read."

'How to Write for Success 'received a five-star review from Readers Favorite

In 'How to Write for Success: Best Writing Advice I Received.' the author shares with new and aspiring authors her knowledge gained over the years.

The book begins with her trials, errors, and successes, and moves on to the essentials of writing a book to which readers will gravitate.

She covers plotting, writing dialogue and narrative, building your story world, choosing a book title, writing the blurb, what an author should do before and after publishing, choosing categories, creating an author brand, book marketing, and most of all how to get sales and reviews.

It does not end there.

She shows how you can achieve recognition in an author's world and become successful.

You can become a best-selling author.

You can become an award-winning author.

The author emphasizes it is up to each individual to apply what they have learned in the book to achieve their dreams and goals.

There is a segment on frequently asked questions with answers, that no aspiring author would want to miss.

Seasoned authors can also learn something from this book. Be proud to be an Author.

READ THE REVIEW FROM READERS FAVORITE:

Author Brenda Mohammed gives the reader valuable nuggets of truth to use within their own writing career in How To Write For Success.

There is a brief introduction listing the various books the author has written and her ability to encompass different types of literature.

The purpose of this book is to show readers that the author has a passion to help other readers fulfill their lifelong dream of writing their own book.

I really appreciated the personal stories of how the author writes her own material and how important research is, even before one begins to write.

She also lists several Facebook groups she has joined to help promote both her material and herself as an author.
One of the best statements I appreciated within this book is: "A book description is your sales page.

It will sell your book.

Make sure it is engaging and can turn a browse into a buy."

This is great and valuable information for a writer to understand.

There is also listed the importance of copyrighting the material, getting an ISBN number, etc. Whoever gets the ISBN number is considered the publisher.

The author has the choice of getting their own or letting the publisher get it for them.

Pre-orders are very important to an author.

Creating excitement before the book is even printed is huge.

There are also many listed things that one can do following publication.

Branding yourself is also very important.

People must know about you and your material, how to find it and consider reading it.

I really enjoyed all the links provided in the e-book, allowing the reader to go to various publishers, writing aids, Facebook groups, etc.

This is an asset to any writer at any level, given the detailed information, but for the beginner, it is a must-have!

"Reviewed By Faridah Nassozi for Readers' Favorite"

In Revenge of Zeeka by Brenda Mohammed, the island of Gosh is under attack by an army of zombies under the command of a vengeful science genius.
In the year 2016, the Zika virus broke out in Central and South America with life threatening effects for pregnant women.
Given a choice to save the mothers or the unborn babies, a decision was made to save the mothers.
The tiny stillborns were securely and secretly buried.
Only a few people knew of this.
Unknown to everyone, however, a certain scientist managed to get hold of all 51 bodies, bring them back to life, and condition them to follow his command, creating himself a perfect army of zombies.
Now, twenty years later, the evil scientist seeks revenge on those he holds responsible for the stillbirths.
Only three of the current doctors at Central Hospital - Raynor, Mark, and George - witnessed the unfortunate events of 2016.
The three have strong suspicions about who might be controlling the zombies.
Meanwhile, Zeeka is lying in wait for the perfect time to unleash his army onto the island.
Zeeka has big, evil plans and this is just the beginning.
In a desperate search for answers, and with very little to go on, the doctors search for the elusive Master Zeeka.
Will they save the islanders from Zeeka and his zombies, or will it be too late?
Revenge of Zeeka by Brenda Mohammed is a one of a kind novella trilogy that delivers an incredible story guaranteed to give readers an absolute sci-fi treat.
I especially liked how Brenda used current events as the pivotal point from which to build this amazing sci-fi horror.
This made the story even more relatable.
More importantly, however, I admired how she owned her story and created this captivating version of events.
She captured with an amazing depth the setting, characters, plot, and emotions in such few words.
If you are looking for a thrilling short read, this fast-paced, sci-fi action novella will give you the time of your life."
