From Dusseldorf, we flew by Air Berlin to West Berlin.
Stayed at California Hotel, comfortable and inviting.
The largest city and capital of Germany,
Berlin is an exquisite city with much history.
We toured many museums and historic sites.
Heard horrific stories of their ancestors’ plight.
The shopping was great in the fabulous stores.
Bought fashionable wear, household items, and more.
On our way to Schoenefeld airport saw parts of East Berlin,
From where our flight to Gatwick, London, was leaving.
The cab driver related stories to us about his deceased family.
Happy all is well and living in peace and harmony.
